Foremost, I would like to make resonance of my introduction, Olajire Damilola Muyideen I am, who is sharing an offspring of Oyo state, Ibadan to be precise, a 400level student of Bayero University Kano.
Wouldn't say am disappointed in myself from coming from the west or sort and never like using medium to raise appraisals to the Northern Governors but rather I wouldn't know why also the Western Governors and all other principal portfolios are too blind in realizing that many are out there who deviated from being a westerner of Nigeria rather trying to be of a different ethnic which is beneficial to them , come to the north and you will get astounded.
Without further ado, I realized the western governmental principalities had really tied its responsibilities for not conducting its obligatory obligations. They concoct irregularities of no expense rather facetious when its effectiveness is far fling from the vessels of adorableness.
I realize that anytime you accused of delineating from normality then you come with flabbiness act that are facile, how I wish the zeal borne with flagellation could be embedded in us all by the. But still we shouldn't always sometimes wait for the judgement of God, for copiousness of porous and erroneous acts are in existence and built-in to this westerner governments.
Now at the crux of the topical agitation, I would want to ask all educational principalities of the west and its related personnel's that why is the west not appreciating the essence of studentship, where are the expected bursaries and scholarships?
Well let me make some evaluation of some analytical discuss;
1. Kano state is paying 24000/25000 to returning student as at last year and 12000 to new students as of this year{ home and abroad}
2. Kaduna is paying #15000 to students {home and abroad}
3. Katsina state is paying #16000 to its indigenous students {home and abroad}
Since when I have been known to be a tertiary institution beneficiary, which I started from kwara state before transiting to the north, I never in any way felt the expected allocation of this bursaries from my state government, not really concerned about having an added advantage of finance but making it factual that its our rights
Factually even institutions that are in the west hasn't yet benefited talk more of we in diaspora. I experienced the irrelevancy of a bursary payment in kwara state by kwara state government then in 2012, for #5000 was proposed and extended in which #4000 or #4500 I think was finally remitted by the beneficiaries.
Let's holistically look at this instance, #5000 to only students in its jurisdiction not considering its diaspora, also look at the feeble amount extended compared to the northern governments in which Is even yearly done. Now when last has this been done and offered to students??
