There’s trouble brewing within Taylor Swift’s girl squad. Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid are apparently feuding through half-naked photos, which absolutely no one is complaining about. The possibly made-up, possibly very real tension between the two stars comes from the fact that Gomez started dating The Weeknd, who Hadid used to date.
The two singers hooked up recently and were seen kissing outside the Giorgio Baldi in L.A. They reportedly wanted to keep their romance a secret, but ultimately decided they don’t care who knows. It seems The Weeknd always had a thing for the singer and even sang about her body in his song “Party Monster,” saying his dream girl has “lips like Angelina” and an “ass shaped like Selena.”
Photographer Mert Alas posted a behind-the-scenes photo of Gomez in nothing but a thong Monday, titling it “Beauty and the Beast,” and tagging The Weeknd in the comments with a black heart emoji. The Weeknd hasn’t said anything about the photo, but it must have pissed off Hadid, because she reportedly unfollowed Gomez on Instagram the same day.
Just a few days before, Hadid posted a Boomerang of herself in a very small bodysuit showing off her ass and side boob. Not only was the photo of Gomez referencing her new bae, but it was also very similar to Hadid’s latest revealing photo. Should this start drama? Definitely not. Could it start drama? Definitely. Did it start drama? Who fucking knows.
The only thing we know for sure is that the world is happy to accept an endless number of photos of both Hadid and Gomez practically naked. Literally no one is complaining about this turn of events, and no one really loses here (except maybe Hadid if she’s actually mad at Gomez for dating her ex and posing for sexy photos, but, again, this whole feud could be totally imagined).
Well, there you have it folks. The landscape of celebrity feuds gains another possible duo and the world at large gains two very sexy photos.
