Olasunkanmi Wasiu Ayinde Marshal was born on March 3, 1957. He is not only regarded as one of the progenitors of Fuji music, but also one of Nigeria’s most successful music artistes ever.
He introduced the fuji music genre to the sounds of keyboards, saxophones and guitars and another contemporary blend to give the brand the international taste that is enjoyed across the world today. The release of his breakthrough album in 1984 marked the beginning of his success story and since then there’s been no stopping him.
